I know this sounds a bit dumb but what happened to Von Wafer?

sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4394104dude went to Greece to play. Evedintly he didn't get any good offers here in the states. AB could probably tell you more about why the Rockets cut him loose since he's our resident expert.

We dumped alot of money getting Ariza. Dumb move IMO not trying harder to keep him. Especially since V-Dub plays the same position as T-Mac and he wont be back until midseason. IF we even sniff the playoffs we will be #8 at best and get bounced. This being the West I see us as one of those teams with an over .500 record and not making it at all.

Ariza is a friggin baller. This team so far is not quite as bad as I thought.

Man we just hulled the Jizz out in bootah. I know it's early but so far I'm eating crow over this team. 3-1 with a 3 game win streak over golden State, Portland and Utah. The refs were trying to give it to Utah too. Worst officiated game I've seen sinc the 05 debacle. Fuckin Kirelenko falls down after missing a shot and they blew the whistle. Shit like that all night. They shot 12 FTs in the 1st qtr. We still whooped there ass!

WAY too early for me to get into it but I'm glad we're off to a good start.

Took the Lakers to Overtime, and had a chance to win it in the final seconds of OT.
Yeah, this Rockets team might very well turn a LOT of heads. Their intensity is hard to match. And this was without the White Von Wafer, Chase Budinger.
Yes...he is the White Von Wafer. Explosive, and a boost off the bench with a lights-out shot.
I can't wait until he gets back.
Also, holy CRAP what did they do with Chuck Hayes? He is a man-beast suddenly! It's like he took his mediocre self and became even more of a serious player.
I'm lovin' it! Totally buyin' the "We Are Red Nation" slogan.

What I like is the speed. These guys are fast as fuck! They handled the Jazz the other night with speed. That is one advantage Hayes has is his speed and he has developed some shooting skill too!

I'm encouraged by the way we were able to push the Lakers to the limit again....that tells me last season wasn't just a fluke. We match up very well against them and they have to take us seriously because we will have a say in who comes out of the West again.
I also liked seeing Ariza and Artest going toe to toe at the end of the game. I think we made the right move.

I'm pissed at T-Mac just the same as anyone else but if he is ready to go why in the hell is he not playing? Said they didnt want to disrupt the rhythm. We are a .500 ball club with a superstar sitting on the bench. WTF? He's making a shit load of money this year. If he's ready the Rockets are stupid to not let him play.
