well I guess the most concerning problem we have now with Mutumbo out is the lack of another 7 footer in the paint. Now we'll have to play small ball when Yao needs a breather and god forbid anything happenst to him. Any idea how we'll solve that problem?

We have actually had some success with Hayes at center before. He's a good D player which is what Deke was for anyways. We are quick as hell when we go small with Brooks at PG. I'm sure Adelman will have them ready. The crowd will be rowdy and ready! Taking half the night off so I can come home and watch them!

As for the rest of the playoffs, I think we'll be in a little bit of trouble without Deke, and its sad it had to end like that for him, but at the same time, I am in a way happy. We can now [hopefully] in the offseason get a rather decent backup center that is younger and maybe has a little bit more offensive skills than Deke.

This is random but is it just me or do Nate McMillian and Zach Randolph look very alike?

This is random but is it just me or do Nate McMillian and Zach Randolph look very alike? haha yeah. Nice game. Do yall think that last play by Brooks was planned? The score doesnt reflect how we physically dominated that game. Portland threw up some shots that they would never make again to keep it close.

I like what Battier said at the end of the game. He said there has been games where they could have just mailed it in and said this just isnt our season or our game, but we didnt. We kept fighting and got the win. I like this team. We have more than just one or two options and they are scrappy. There not sitting around waiting to see if T-Mac is going to chunk up a lazy ass jump shot or if he might possibly go to the hole or pass it to the open man. They are very unselfish and play very very hard. There not a bunch of high priced stars there just a bunch of scrappy guys who play hard and play together.

Speaking of T-Mac, he was on the bench last night! Anyhow, we gotta take care of business and close it out tomorrow night. LA is likely gonna close it out tonight,

the last game is always the hardest and it's usually tough to seal the deal. It would be a huge confidence boost if we can dominate them like we did early in the series and close it out strong.
Get solid defense from Battier and Artest, get the break going with Wafer, and feed the ball to Yao.

We gotta close it out tomorrow. We cant afford to lose tomorrow or allow Portland to extend the series while LA closes out tonight and gets their rest. Close it out tomorrow and I will assume the series will start perhaps Friday-Sunday.

Not so fast. Looks like 3-2 back to Houston. So sad we cant get a guy who is 7-6 the ball and so sad none of the role players can step up and hit a shot.

damnit...should've known it wouldn't come easy but there's no way we blow this. We'll rebound and put them out of their misery in 6

TBH I would rather play one extra game and not have that big break in between each series. We will close it out Thurs and be ready for he Lakers this weekend.

finally they show the damn game....someone needs to tell TNT it's not all about Boston/Chicago. Yeah I just sent them an email asking them why after the first or second overtime cant they switch to the other game so the fans who have been waiting for it can enjoy more than part of the second half. I also asked why they showed no highlights or picture in picture or anything for that matter. Anyhoo... Rockets stompin that ass right now!!!
