Oklahoma should win this one by double digits, but they have been known to choke away some big games in the past. Hopefully the choking is exactly what they do.

I laugh when I read a UT guy talking about OU choking (NOt an OU or UT fan, or A&M), besides this year didn't UT lose to a far lesser opponent in A&M the previous two years? I would classify that as choking. As far as who should be in the big 12 champ game, no clue but I like when Texas fails to recall that it is a three-way tie and that TT beating them never comes into the conversation.

Hope you got your chuckle in. Now TT wasnt in the talk b/c they got their asses handed to them on National TV. Our game against TT came down to the very last play. It was between us and OK b/c of that and I guess our double digit victory over them didnt matter. TT has and never will be in the final equation. Sorry but thats the way it is. OK got their ass embarrased in the 04 National championship against USC and lost to LSU the year before that. Dont get me started on the "Statue of Liberty" choke job against Boise State. The thing is when the games that matter are played thay have been known to choke. You can say what you want about A&M b/c you measely TT and Aggie fans need some things to hold onto. The fact is Texas got screwed this year and I hope Mizzou whoops OKs ass!

Yeah it's funny how 1 game means everything to them. We were the better team, we just lost that game in the final seconds. Had our corner not dropped that pick we would have won. Also if the game was in Austin, it would have been over. We beat Oklahoma on a neutral field, Oklahoma beat Tech and Tech beat us, so it comes down between us and Oklahoma, and we beat them. It's simple really, I don't understand why some people can't see it. Oh well, I guess I have to hand it to Tech 1 decent year out of several years of mediocrity. Hang on to that, after another 10 seasons of sucking it up they can always say remember when we beat Texas in 08? And that game will be a distant memory to Texas fans as we celebrate a multitude of 10+ win seasons and at least 1 more national championship. But hey, you guys will always have that one game. LOL.

Mizzou's defense is playing well, but so is the sooners. Man it is so obvious how much better the big 12 teams are than the Sec teams. It's such a huge gap.

I cant root for OU in the championship game because I hate their fans too much. I doubt Florida can pull it off, but I will be rooting for them.

Look I really don't like you anymore, so I guess I don't have to worry about hurting your feelings. To say that Florida stands a chance against Oklahoma is just being stupid. Stop being stupid.

hahaha you pretty much promised Alabama was going to beat Florida, how did that work out for you? I hate OU but there's no way Florida holds them under 35 points.

LOL, I found this over on the GLB forums this morning......
After determining the Big-12 championship game participants the BCS computers were put to work on other major contests and today the BCS declared Germany to be the winner of World War II.
"Germany put together an incredible number of victories beginning with the annexation of Austria and the Sudetenland and continuing on into conference play with defeats of Poland, France, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands. Their only losses came against the US and Russia; however considering their entire body of work--including an incredibly tough Strength of Schedule--our computers deemed them worthy of the #1 ranking."
Questioned about the #4 ranking of the United States the BCS commissioner stated "The US only had two major victories--Japan and Germany. The computer models, unlike humans, aren't influenced by head-to-head contests--they consider each contest to be only a single, equally-weighted event."
German Chancellor Adolph Hiter said "Yes, we lost to the US; but we defeated #2 ranked France in only 6 weeks." Herr Hitler has been criticized for seeking dramatic victories to earn 'style points' to enhance Germany's rankings. Hitler protested "Our contest with Poland was in doubt until the final day and the conditions in Norway were incredibly challenging and demanded the application of additional forces."
The French ranking has also come under scrutiny. The BCS commented " France had a single loss against Germany and following a preseason #1 ranking they only fell to #2."
Japan was ranked #3 with victories including Manchuria, Borneo and the Philippines.
United States head coach Harry S Truman was criticized by many as having poor taste for scheduling a "politicking" interview during halftime of the German bombing raids over Great Britain.
In that interview, Truman stated, "Any way you look at it, there is going to be a really good military force that gets left out. But when you come right down to it, our head-to-head victory over the Germans has to be the deciding factor."
A US fan also made the point that "Germany is getting all the style points right now because of their sexy offense, which continues to obliterate weaker opponents and show off their might after the battle is already won. But what about defense?"
