Holy shit,I didn't know what to expect. They're a contending NFC 3-4 team.As long as the Cowboys fall apart like that mentally they'll never even get to the NFC Championship. Also when was the last time you saw Drob run free like that.

We owned that ass! All I can say is that the Cowboys looked exactly like we did last week, only less productive....if that's possible. The difference being this was the 3rd preseason "dress rehearsal" game that everyone is supposed to be prepared for.
I read some Wade Phillips quotes this morning in the Dallas media talking about how we were successful with our 3 wide sets because we knew they weren't going to blitz us.....well Wade, when you saw that we were having that much success don't you think maybe you should've called some blitzes??
He also said they were unprepared for our 4 and 5 wide sets because he didn't have his team practice against them leading up to the game. Seriously?? Yeah it's only the preseason but its not like we were pulling shit out of the back of our playbook. We were running our base stuff just like they were, the only difference is we actually watched some film and planned for theirs. Phillips is admitting that they weren't prepared. How is this the team that's been picked by many as the favorite in the NFC when they've practically slept through all of their preseason games??
Regardless, I loved our energy and focus last night. We blew the doors off and if it wasn't for a few mistakes on our part the score would've been a lot worse. If we give that kind of effort against the Colts (who have also looked shaky) then good things are on the horizon.

I was at the game last night and it was freaking awsome. The stadium was going crazy all game long. Well, that is up till the 2nd stringers came in then the party was pretty much over.

I watched it in a room full of Boys fans and it was pretty freakin quiet! I actually got embarrassed at one point because I was the only Texan and I had all my gear on.....I didn't have to say anything because it right there on the big screen, and all I could do was say "helluva lot better than we played against the Saints."

We got owned when it counted. As much as I hated it I had to bite my tongue after yesterday's game. The Cowboy fans were really letting us know about it.

I nearly came to blows with some redneck ass cowgirl fans sitting behind me. Its one thing to be happy your team is winning, its a completely different thing to be disrespectful in someone elses house.

Cowboy fans are quickly becoming this generation's Raider/Philly fans. The most despised fanbase in America.
It seems to me that in Richmond, there are 48% Redskin fans, 48% Cowgirl fans and the rest are fans of various teams, depending on where they're from... Baltimore, PGH, NYG, Jets... etc etc
I think I might be the only Texan fan here.
Last week, I watched the game at a BWW and I was surrounded by about 40-50 Cowgirl jersey wearing, obnoxious, drunken bastards.
I wasn't worried, I still had them outnumbered. Fuck'em all. This is still Mayberry compared to where I'm from. Mess with the bull, they'll get the horns. I'm a real Texan.
It did get me pretty pissed off though when they cheered AJ getting hurt. Incidents like that are the reason most of the world hates those bastards.
Having pride in your team is one thing, but there is also such a thing called dignity.
When i watched the Texans make the dramatic comeback win in FedEx Field, I cheered my heart out. But I was also gracious in victory, and while the back and forth ribbing that happens in all football games was still there, it was kept to a friendly level and I made it a point to compliment the opposing teams fans for a well played game and the significant improvement their team has shown this year. And I meant it.
It's too bad that these brainless neanderthals who seem to populate every town in America can't seem to grasp the concept. But I guess it is their defense mechanism for taking shit off of the fans of 31 other teams.
Now I know that not all of their fans are like this, but when even only 10% of them act this way, it gives them all a bad name.
All I can say is... don't follow their example. Carry yourself with some dignity. Having good fans makes the entire organization look better, and our fanbase will be respected for it league wide.

They probably use Coke from Irvin's old locker to mark the lines on the field instead of chalk.
