Whoever says it will be a shootout should be shot.

To me, the Super Bowl rivals any other holiday. It is easily my favorite day of all.
It's the most likely day of the year for me to drink.
The food always rocks. An all day feast. My brother has a tradition of having a 3 1/2 inch porterhouse T-bone every SB. The damn thing looks like a roast. He might as well just rustle a cow, lop off his tail and horns and run him by the campfire a couple of times, then throw it on a plate.. still mooing.
One of the things that always makes the game highly entertaining to me is the gambling. We make tons of bets. Boards for the entire game, boards for every quarter, bets on everything from the coin toss, turnovers, MVP, FGs.. all the way down to the exact time of kickofff down to 15 second windows. Tons of 1,2.. 5 dollar bets... all around. We make a huge list and mark them off as we go.. then settle up at the end.
They could take away the NBA finals, the world series, INDY 500, daytona 500, NHL championship, NCAA final four, and all the college bowl games, and I couldn't care less. Just never take away my Super Bowl day.

I'm an AFC man so I'm gonna root for the Colts despite what Manning does to us year in and year out. But I would not upset if the Saints took it either. As long as I get BBQ and wings I', happy.
And I will say that the Monday after the Super Bowl NEEDS to be a national holiday. Having to work the day after the Super Bowl is like having to work the day after Thanksgiving.

As long as the game doesn't suck I'm good. I don't have a preference for who wins because its the first time in a while where I don't hate at least one of the teams playing. It's going to be a battle of QB's and they're two of the best so it should be a........shootout.

I don't have a preference for who wins because its the first time in a while where I don't hate at least one of the teams playing. I hate all teams, other than the Texans. Just some more or less than others. The ranking can change. Except the Titans will always be first on my hate list. How can you be a Texans fan and not hate the Colts? I feel like Olojuwon when they gave the NBA MVP trophy to David Robinson. That should be US representing the AFC this year. We got robbed by bad luck, bad officiating and a team terrified of meeting us for the third time. To me,. the only reason they're even in the SB is because they were too scared to beat the Jets and open the door for us. Cincinatti also knew they'd better not let us in. When we're on, we are the best team in the league, there is no doubt. I hope the team never forgets that and takes it out on the entire NFL next year. Just like Olojuwon schooled and embarassed Robinson in the playoff series.

ok... i think the Colts will win but I'd rather see the Saints win.
I still think they both suck.
In the end, I care more about the numbers and my bets than who wins the game.
I hope everyone has a safe enjoyable experience today.
Go Texans.

I can't naturally want Peyton to win.I know he probably will...mostly because of the damage he has done to us over the years. On the other hand I can't imagine waiting 30 years for my team to get to the Superbowl... :'(Go Saints!!!!

Awesome game. The Taints got thier 1st SB win and they spanked Mr Perfect and the Dolts doing it. The best part of the game was seeing Manning all pissed when his team mates screwed up only to single handedly lose the game himself. Haha loser. Also, he walked straight to the locker room without any congrats to the Taints. What a punk. 09-10 season. Texans got their first winning season and the Dolts failed. I'm happy.

you should have seen the size of the smile on my face when fivehead threw that pick. Food for SB party 100 dollars. Drinks for SB party 150 dollars. Peyton Manning throwing a pick to seal the deal for the Saints... PRICELESS!!! ;D
