There are other noteables like Aaron Rogers, Darren Sharper, Charles Woodson, and Maurice Jones-Drew but the onese listed in the poll are the concensus top 5
Personally, as much as I hate to say it, I think Manning deserves it most. The other teams could possibly win without their guy but the Colts would be nothing without Peyton. Not to mention they're the only undefeated team remaining.

Since there is no consensus and with alot of the MVP candidate QB's putting up similar numbers to Schaub.I'll go with the record...and there is only one undefeated team.

I gotta go with Brees here, and I think he makes the same statement as Manning as far as other teams winning without their guy. I think if brees goes down the Saints tank. This is tough and those are the only 2 I would consider, but I think Brees deserves it.

I voted for Drew Brees... I wasn;t going to vote for Peyton Manning, and Drew has done a great job at New Orleans.
The real vote could be quite interesting, with all 5 having made a real case to be selected. Brett Favre would be my second choice here, as he's bounced back well after his spell in New York.

it's too bad that these things are tainted with favoritisms.
I never put too much stock into this. Sure it's nice to see your players get some love and recognition but all too often they are mostly a popularity contest while many deserving players get shunned.
Keith's answer sums it up in a nutshell. "I wasn't going to vote for Peytion Manning."
Not meaning to call u out but... I call it the way I see it.
It has nothing to do with on field performance as much as not liking him personally or not liking him because he plays for the Clots.
Honestly, if he were the Texans QB, would that change your opinion?
I know that it would.
Now for my answer. This year it is too tough to call and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a shared award. I know it won't happen but never say never. Truly, this year, like every other year there are more than one who is deserving. So my choice is to not make a choice.
