So we just took a family vacation to Memphis and Arkansas and man dare I say it Memphis was a cool ass town! I had alot of fun there. I did sport my Texans gear proudly though when I went to Beale Street and the Zoo. I wore my battle red AJ jersey to Beale St. and my Deep Blue Steel AJ jersey to the zoo. The whole time though I sported my Texans hat. But man I have never been to Tennessee and we had a freaking blast there.
We also went up and stayed in a cabin on Petit Jean mountain in Arkansas and that was freaking beautiful.
I drove right by Hydro's and AB's neck of the woods to get there and actually stayed a night in Longview to visit a friend. If I had your guys numbers I would have called ya and we could have hung out. Anyway it's good to be back in TX!

dude I wish I would've known you were up through this area. Next time you're up this way give us a heads up and maybe we can meet up.
As for Memphis, I was stationed right outside the city in Millington at the NAS where I went through avionics school. I hated the area around the base so we used to go into Memphis a lot to party. Beale St. was the shit back in the day, and B.B. King's was a great place to get trashed. And I loved the Mississippi in the winter....good times.
glad you enjoyed it man

LOL I didn't want to ruin your welcome back post by bagging on Longview but that place really does suck. I lived there for 2 yrs and it never clicked.....too country for me to be honest considering I grew up in the big H.
