Okay so I'm looking into my crystal ball.. Tonight Indy should beat Miami but if we get an upset then I would be totally stoked. If not then the division looks like this. Ind 2-0 Hou 1-1 Ten 0-2 lol! Jac 0-2 Week 3 puts the Jags in Houston for another loss. Ten goes to NY for a brawler that I expect Tenn to lose. Steelers 2.0 for them. Indy goes to AZ for a shoot out. AZ wins Hou 2-1 with 2 division wins. Indy 2-1 Ten 0-3 lol! Jac 0-3 Week 4 we exact revenge on the Raiders. This should be a good game with a win for us. Indy will down the Shehawks and Ten gets its first win over Jac. Hou 3-1 Indy 3-1 Ten 1-3 Jac 0-4 Starting week 5 things get tough. We have two road games in AZ and Cin. Both teams could cause trouble. I think we lose one of those. Ten will win their games in week 5 and 6 beating Indy at home and NE on the road. That leaves Indy with a loss and a bye week. The Jags play Seattle and STL. They lose to the Shehawks but beat the Rams. Week 6 Hou 4-2 Ten 3-3 Indy 3-2 Jac 1-5 From this point on we own the division and our destiny. Go Texans! Week 10 Colts 9-0 We will beat them. Mark my words. Jags 5-4 Let them nip at our heals all they want. When we destroy them in week 13 they can grovel with the Tacks. Texans 5-4 All we need to do is take care of our division opponents and we are set. Lets knock em down 1,2,3! Tacks 3-6 I have to give them a salute. A single finger salute that is, for being the sorriest team in the league right now.

I will also be taking a "wait and see" attitude because I have learned my lesson in years past that a season can change at any moment. I certainly feel like this is our season... just no predictions from me.

2nd place is better than last after 2 games

2nd place is better than last after 2 games I like our start to the season, it is even better than 2007 when we looked like we caught lightning in a bottle and then fizzled out due to injuries. This season we look like if we can tighten up the D we will be up there with the best of teams.

All is going according to plan.
After week 2.
Indy 2-0 Fish should have beat them with Manning only being on the field 15 minutes but oh well.
Hou 1-1 Jac 0-2 Ten 0-2 Didn't calculate the Jags loss as non conferance so lol on the Tacks for being in the cellar.

Unfortunately you can never count the Colts out. They may win the AZ game but I have a feeling that the Tacks will get their shit together and hand the Colts a loss. I don't know if I would rather us be on top with the jackyls on our heels or have us chasing the Colts with the Tacks buried in the cellar.

Actually, I don't think we'd know how to handle being in 1st and would probably choke, so I'd rather be in 2nd chasing the Colts with both the Titans and Jags buried in the cellar.

Yea thats a scary thought. Imagine the stress if the Texans led the division and we had to watch them try and hang on. I would rather them be a Cinderella team, come up from behind, win the division and murder the playoffs.

exactly. I'm happy with 2nd place right now. let the Colts think it's business as usuall and WHAM!! We hit em upside the head to steal the division and an automatic playoff seat.

Who are we kidding, the Colts are right back out in front of the division while the rest of us play keystone cops. The only good thing is that the Titans suck the worst right now.

IF we had this win we would have been strengthening our chances at a solid record and playoff birth... we are going to have to tighten up our play FAST on the D!

all is not lost. I expected the Colts to win the division, but we can still be competitive in the wildcard race.

At this point, I want a winning freaking season! I would love the playoffs, but for my sanity I would love to see at least 9-7. PLEASE TEXANS! I am sick of people refering to us as the onyl team that has never had a winning season or a playoff birth!

Okay things are looking up again. Like I said we are in for a roller coaster ride.
Colts 4-0 I hate Manning. Jags 2-2 Can't wait for payback. Texans 2-2 We are holding our own. Tacks 0-4 LOL! What a joke...pause...let me just savor this moment.
Week 5 should not bring about any change in the division other than the Tacks being put deeper in the cellar. An upset win over the Colts would be nice but its a win win scenario either way.
The Jags could beat the Shehawks unless Hasselbeck returns and plays well. I would love for Seattle to take this one but not counting on it. Lets just hope Hasselbeck is good to go and can light up the Jags.
That leaves us and the Cards. The Cards havn't been playing well but they are coming off a bye. If they get thier offense going we could be in trouble. I'm hoping that the only gunslinger with a fully loaded weapon is Schaub. Our defense needs to take care of business either way. No let downs this week. Time to prove our worth.

on the road in a loud stadium against a powerful offense that has had a bye week to figure things out. It sure makes me scared. This is one of the games I predicted as a loss, so if they can steal it that would be awesome.
