Ah yes, sweet sweet vindication. I've decided to have a little fun this season and combine two things I love very much. Winning and drinking. A novel combination I know. So in honor of this, I am creating the Victory Beer Blog. After pounding Blue Moons and Sam Adams all game, if the Texans managed to put out a victory, I will savor the moment with a special beer from my collection that I set aside for such an occasion. Todays(or yesterdays really as I was celebrating too much to post it until today) Victory Beer is a Dogfish Head made Indian Brown Ale. A rich dark beer that is surprisingly smooth with a bit of a bite at the end. Victory was sweet, and so was the Beer! Heres to hoping I get to drink at least 9 more this season! Go Texans!

Today's sweet victory is an Allagash Tripel Ale. Product of microbrewery in Portland Maine, its a medium colored ale slightly on the bitter side. Its 9% alcohol content is an added bonus.

I changed my mind, I figured if I was goign to take in some empty calories today I would rather have some victory Cookies and Cream Bluebell Ice Cream.

Not much of a drinker here. Can I take bong hits instead?

Not much of a drinker here. Can I take bong hits instead? Only if you have some special victory weed.

I think I'll stick with the legal intoxicants...but to each their own. Here, here to the Texans.

I think I'll stick with the legal intoxicants...but to each their own. Here, here to the Texans. Good beer. Shoguns in Tyler serves this. Some of yall have lost me with some of the odd ball beer you say you've drank. Good ol' Coor's light for me. Cheers Texans for the two big wins we have so far and another for alot more wins to come!

Ah hell ya boys. Great game today. Heres to hoping Kubs has the boys ready for the 9ers and we get our first back to back wins. Todays victory beer is the Germany made Weltenburger Kloster Asam Bock. To me it tastes like a milder version of Guiness. But today it tastes oh so sweet!
