I went nuts when AJ made that play. I was so jacked up they could probably hear me yelling in the next county.

Gotta love his effort and work ethic.
What I like about him most.. his humility... nothing like ocho stinko or TO. He puts the team first.
I also like the fact he doesn't dance around.
THe NFL should make a rule, that if you dance for making an average play, you should also dance when you fail.
I'm totally against all the dancing and prancing, it has no place in football.
A fist pump... a high five or slap on the helmet or butt... I can understand a little emotion.. but when these guys dance over making a play they're expected to make.. that's just taking it too far.
Nothing pisses me off more than to see a guy dance when he scores.. and his team is down by 33 points.
You also have to consider that the player could injure himself or is burning up energy he may need later in the game. The Texans sure could have used a little extra effort on that 4th down play, both mental and physical.
Dancing is just wrong... it's poor sportsmanship. Have some class. Be a pro.. be more like AJ.
I'd fine players for it if it was my team.

I'm all for making a good play and then the cheerleaders coming in the endzone and dancing and prancing.

I wish we could clone AJ and put 5 of him on the offensive line.

Bruised chest. I think he should sit against the Bills. We have the Colts after that at their house. Thoughts?

I'd say see how the week plays out. Just cuz its the Bills doesnt mean its an automatic win, just ask the Jets and Panthers.

Yeah I'm not saying it b/c I feel it's automatic. Just feel we a good enough WR crew to be cautious with him. would rather have him for the colts game.

I agree with goat, there's way too much time between now and the Bills game to make that call imo. If he's close to 100% by game time then we need him out there, but if there's any doubt then I think we can get by if he needs to sit one out. Jacoby has been hot lately and I think he could pick up the slack if AJ can't go.

Bruised chest doesn't sound too bad. I'm so glad he didn't get any cracked ribs. He will probably be good to go against the Bills but I think we will be fine if they choose to sit him. The one thing we do have is a load of good wideouts plus Slaton and OD.

IF....and its a big if right now......we go against the Bills without AJ I think you gotta get Jones on the field more. I know Davis got the nod yesterday when AJ went down but Jacoby has the hot hand and deserves a shot.....dude has come a long way in redeeming himself and proving he can be a legit WR at this level.

the Bills are dead last in the NFL in rush defense. This would be a good game to have a better 50/50 split of run and pass to take advantage of their porous rush defense. Their offense is very weak and doesnt score alot of points. They rely on their defense to force turnovers on the opponents side of the field so they can kick field goals. Win the turnover battle and establish the run.

Our run game's biggest problem right now is Slaton's greasy palms. 67 rushing yards by him isnt horrible but fumbles are.

back to Andre....
According to the .com he has a lung bruise. They're saying he's day to day but that's some painful shit to deal with, especially after it has time to set in. It hurts like hell to breathe and makes you whole torso sore.
I'm sure he'll get some good treatment from the training staff to ease the pain but there isn't really anything he can do to speed up the healing process except rest.

you know what, I thought I saw AJ spitting up blood on the field when he was on his hands and knees and the trainers were tending to him, but with the way the shadows were playing down there it could've been just spit. McClain confirmed it......
That's no fuckin joke....any time you spit up blood you've done some serious damage. I hope like hell he heals quick but don't be surprised if he doesn't suit up this week.

I just watched the game again and he looked like he was having some problems in the 1st qtr. Standing on the sidelines halfway on the field with his hands on his knees.
