if the texans win this week, it will be a huge confidence boost. It could be enough to finally get them over the hump.

Cardinals have lost twice at home already, so we are really in a fight against history and statistics trying to make them lose a 3rd time at home.

Alright so we lost another game that we should have won. Our team never seems to be able to play 4 quarters of solid football and we continue to come up short. That translates to 8-8 if we are lucky. Colts 5-0 Lets face it, Manning is the king of winning and thier D is solid. Jags 2-3 They suck just a little less than us. Texans 2-3 When are we ever gonna get our shit together? Tacks 0-5 The only silver lining in our season so far is that the Tacks are the door mat of the AFC South. Next up is the Bengals on the road. The Bengals should win this one but the Texans are too unpredictable to set that in concrete. Will we get creamed? Will it be another nail biter where either team could squeek the win? Will we blow the Bengals up? Who knows. The Jags should defeat the Rams and the Tacks will be 0-6. The Colts have a bye so I can safely say thier will be no change in the division. Colts 5-0 Lets just declare them division winners. Jags 3-3 Brothers in mediocraty. Sigh. Texans 3-3 or 2-4 50-50 Tacks 0-6 VY still sucks. You should have stuck with Collins.

its obvious the Colts are going to win the division so we are fighting for a wildcard with the Patriots, Steelers, Ravens, and Chargers. Which means with the quality of teams like the first 3 I mentioned, if you arent 11-5 you arent going to the playoffs. So right now I dont expect to go to the playoffs, I see want to see a winning season and us win more than 1 fucking game in a row. The hard part is our schedule is a bear up until the bye week. The Bengals are 4-1 and beat good teams, the 49ers will be coming off a bye, and the Colts are the Colts. The only team we play that we are actually better than is the Bills.

I really dont know if I can swallow watching the Colts win this division...AGAIN! It's really getting old. Reality bites I guess and right now as I speak ESPN is on in the background and they're sucking Mannings ass. I'm tired of being no better than third and being the joke of the AFC South. The up and down play we have right now we are staring 8-8 and 3rd place dead in the fucking face!!

As long as we keep pace with the Jags I see us taking the 2nd spot in the division when its all said and done. There's just no way to catch the Colts and they're on fire right now.....damn them!!
The good news is for the past two seasons we've been stronger down the stretch, so if we can fight to stay around .500 by the bye week we still have a chance to scratch and claw our way to 9 or 10 wins, but at this point I think the playoffs are a pipe dream.....we've got a LONG way to go to start thinking about that realistically.

its a cold reality that the Colts are going to rule the AFC South until Peyton Manning retires. Its just the way it is. The guy is something different than other QBs, hes like a booster for the whole team, making everyone around him play better. I just dont see us ever being on top of this division until he is gone. I just want to see a winning season and a run at a wildcard.

Last season at this time we were 1-4 after the hurricane so you mean to tell me that after the tough tough start to the season last year the weather and the schedule we are only 1 game better? WTF is wrong here guys?!? I mean really!?!

its the desire to win. For some reason they just dont go out there and want it bad enough. Either that or they have a voodoo curse or something. I cant blame talent, I really cant blame coaching. Its just either you are Big Ben and you drive your team down the field to win a game, or you are the Texans and you fail to score from the 1 yard line. Both have talent, just one has the mental ability to win and the other doesnt.

Yeah b/c as far a punching it in on the goaline you take away that horrible int for a score instead of trying to punch it in to tie we are kicking a FG to win.
I'm just tired of sitting around and looking at stupid plays and mistakes and saying, "Well if they had done this or done that we would have won." Thats the difference between a 2-3 team and a 4-1 team and look which one we are.

yep thats what makes it hard for me to swallow. I would be less frustrated if we were a bad team losing games, but we are a GOOD team losing games.

I'm not ready to write us off yet. Only 3 teams in the AFC have a 4 win or better season so far and they are all in different divisions. That leaves a lot of teams with a fighting chance at a wild card. The best thing we can do right now is regroup and take care of the Bengals.

I agree. If we can stay afloat and get on one of those runs like last year it get very interesting. This game this wekend is exactly the type of game we can steal and be right back in the mix of things!

we've only seen flashes of what this team is capable of.
All we need is to get more consistant with it and we're in the upper echelon of the league.
