watching them get blown out in the snow in those Oiler uniforms just capped off another great NFL week for me.
That was just like old times again.
Thanks for the memories Bud. Not the old ones, the new ones.
And this just in. They still suck. I expect to see VY start the next game... but... right now their team is in such disarray, I doubt if they even know what they're going to do next.
I'd give anything to have them wear those throwbacks against our battle red on MNF.

I love it! 59 to zip! You couldn't ask for anything better on Sunday night primetime.

The lost by 59 because they were hoping they could lure Demeco onto their team by honoring him with a number tribute. They knew they couldn't score 59, so they just lost by 59 instead!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! They sucked so freakin bad that CBS switched over to the Jets/Bills game after Brady threw his 6th TD to start the second half. You've gotta suck when the network pulls the plug on you with a whole half left to play!! I was watching the Pat v Tacks and had to leave for a while and when I came back it was Bills v Jets. I really wanted to watch that beatdown. I maybe enjoyed this game more than the Texans' win.

btw, I disagree with the notion that Albert Haynesworth leaving is the reason their defense is terrible this season. One player doesn't have that huge of an impact unless his name is Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White, etc.....and Haynesworth is NOT that calibre of a player imo.
The real reason their defense is as pathetic as it is this season is the loss of Jim Schwartz. It just goes to show how good of a DC he was there and they're really feeling the impact of losing him more than anything. It looks to me like they didn't do a good enough job grooming his replacement even though they knew there was a good chance he'd be leaving for a HC job.

fat albert was an impact player when you also take into account that some players make those around them better by creating opportunities etc.

him leaving isn't the only reason they suck, it's only a part of it, but it does play a part. I'm just pointing out that he was a bigger contributor than you guys give him credit for.
Now he's gone, not taking double teams, Vanden Douche and the others are being outed for being the average players they are. You seen EW make him his red eyed, crybaby bitch over and over again.
The locker room/bench/off the field prescence/leadership qualities left with him too. Pro football uses a lot of chemistry... that's how avg players become overachievers and great players become chokers.. it's all in the head. Losers have the losing mentality, no matter their talent level. If they don't get fire under their asses, they will always lose.
That's what I like about the Texans now.. they seem to have left the losing attitude behind... that's a great sign of things to come.
I attribute a lot of that to Cushing... he comes from a winning program and seems to have the fire. I don't think we'll be seeing any more Diva Rob type stunts from this team with Cush in the locker room. From what I have heard and seen the kid is a born leader on the gridiron. The more they play, the more it seems the chemistry is coming together.

The Titans look to threaten against the Jags this week coming off their first week of the season without a loss... it was their bye week... but when you suck as bad as them you try to word things so they sound positive whenever you can.
