Rockets owning the Blazers right now. Question... why the fuck has McGrady not been to any of the games?

...and after crushing the Blazers we now have our homecourt in the 1st round!

Right on! That's the Rockets I was hoping to see instead of the dead footed team that closed the season against the Mavs. I hope we can keep it up! Our energy was way up and Yao absolutely dominated the paint.
As for McGrady, I have no idea....he's been a ghost. Maybe the front office already told him he's not going to be back next year?

Now here comes the real test. Expect Yao to be fronted this next game and rest of the series.

They will have to double him b/c there is no one on Portland that can hold him 1 on 1. So that leaves someone open and whoever that is will have an opportunity to have a big game. At the same time Yao only played 24 min. in this game. The second half he didnt play all that much. This is a pretty cohesive unit we got here. IMO I think Portland is just over matched. It will be interesting to see what happens.

so out of curiosity do yall like that it became first to 4 wins or did you perfer when it was first to 3...i had liked the 3...cause alot of the easier matchups are first.....i mean the 1-8 and 2-7 matchups should be done fastest...and 4-5 should be longest.. =p

The first round should be best of 5 then the rest, best of 7

The first round should be best of 5 then the rest, best of 7 yea I agree....but then again, we haven't made it out of the 1st round in recent memory so I'm down with however many games it takes us to advance

I think it will take us 6 perhaps 7. Speaking of tonight's game, worst officiating I have seen in some time. No lie, no exaggeration, it was horrible, and it's sad David Stern still lets some of these refs officiate. I'm at a loss of words after tonight's game. Though you knew it was bound to happen sooner or later, they took Yao out of this game.

Oh well it's 1-1 and the next 2 are in H-Town!! Roy had to do everything himself. That wont happen every night. didnt get to see the game, but I will take your word on the officiating. They do not like us winning.

Roy and Aldridge, other than that not much of anyone else. Except Oden ending Mutumbo's career(even though it was his last season anyway)

We better get it done. Coulda, shoulda, woulda been up 2-0. McGrady is suppose to be back in the house for the next game or two. Speaking of the long lost man McGrady, here is a little update/news on him: www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/chronicle/6387091.html

Speaking of the long lost man McGrady, here is a little update/news on him: www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/chronicle/6387091.htmlyeah he "lost his passion" until he saw how good this team is without him, and the possibility/probability that we'll make it out of the 1st round without him. honestly, I wanted to like McGrady from the start but he's never been able to raise the team to the next level and all of the injuries have worn thin for me. Plus I always got the impression that he was holding Yao's game back because of his tendency to always try and be "the man." Maybe I'm off base but it wouldn't break my heart if they dealt him in the offseason.

yeah...Mcgrady has been injured alot the last seasons. Im not a Rockets fan or anything...but doesn't he have a high payroll and was paid to come in and make the team better...he needs to be like Chris Paul and assist more..instead of tryin to take it to the rim so much...

...the injuries have made him lose his passion, before that his family members nagging him for money made him lose his passion blah blah... it's not my fault blah blah SHUT THE F U C K UP McGrady!!!!
Either you want to play or you dont. Get the fuck out of here and let someone else have the spot if you dont want it. Enough is enough.
